That's a good question, and certainly valid. It's quite possible that if you are not eligible at all, they won't even put it on there. I honestly don't know.

I seem to remember in the back of my mind, this was discussed 3 or 4 months ago when someone else said they don't have that button either.

I just called the regular customer service number. The first guy looked and I wasn't automatically eligible or something, so he passed me up to a credit specialist or some such, and he approved it. He asked if I wanted to ask for a specific figure or just go with what came up. I chose the second and went from $10K - $15K. I'm pretty sure that if I had tried the online button, it would have been a no.

Soft inq, new CL showed immediately on my BofA screen, AND they updated to the credit bureaus with the new limit, plus lower balance (I had made another big payment.) Gained 9 badly-needed points on EX!

For anyone else trying to find the luv button, it's on the Account Details tab, not the Accounts Summary tab. (Took me forever to find it!) Mine shows on the left in the available credit box. It's grown-up name is Request a credit line increase.

I cannot understand why they denied my cli app knowing I did it after a jump on my fico score alert happened. from 681 to 696 and my 3 bofa accounts in good standing which I think they can see in front of their screen (visa plat 200/2000, good checking accnt, and an auto loan for 14 mos now never late). I thought I'll apply a diff card with them. have been wanting to get their bofa amex so i tried their soft pull pre approval site.. I know i'm opt out but have opted back in almost a month ago.. surprisingly the site can only offer me a secured card, It can't be I think or maybe I did the opting back in wrong.. I tried the real amex pre approval site and was pre approved for 5 diff. cards. I called in cust. rep to ask details and was very helpful, decided why not try it. applied for amex blue and got approved for 3k.. will try cli on activation.. still surprised by the approval..

yep, soft pull. don't be surprised if 2 blues, gold and plat only come up. if not please post what you are offerred.

Logging in regularly, it offered me a Blue, HHonors Platinum, and Rewards Plus Gold.

For poops and giggles I just tried the login link for members and got the plat, gold plus, and two blues.  Seems it's back to its old tricks!

Same old, same old for me, too. What's really funny is that the card that I have is the Gold Rewards Plus, and that's one that's "offered." Obviously, not exactly a tailored offer. (The featured Blues are the straight Blue and Blue Sky.)

Although when I log in, it dangles the Blue Cash at me.
