Did Chase Stop Mid-cycle Reporting?

I noticed on all 3 reports that within the last month Chase stopped reporting zero when I PIF mid billing cycle.

Is it just me?

I don't know.

In the interest of data points, I changed my Hyatt card payment to pay the $7.16 balance tomorrow instead of later in October.

I'll let you know if there's an update in a few days.

Re: Did Chase Stop Mid-cycle Reporting?

I also paid off the last $50 we had on the DW's Freedom card, I'll let you know if we get any mid-cycle reporting as well.  The one time Chase did mid-cycle report it hurt my scores as that was the only card reporting with a balance lol.  Thankfully UTIL doesn't have a memory...

Re: Did Chase Stop Mid-cycle Reporting?

They updated my balance to 0 when I paid off my AARP card mid cycle 4 days ago. Took a few days for it to show up.

Re: Did Chase Stop Mid-cycle Reporting?

It's been a few weeks since I paid my CSP off. It's almost time for the current statement to close and they haven't updated any reports to $0. I don't mind if they do or if they don't but I'd like them to be consistant on their approach.

Re: Did Chase Stop Mid-cycle Reporting?

I just got an update on Experian (through the Score Monitoring here) that Chase did a mid-cycle update to the DW's Freedom we paid off.  It had a $50 balance and alerted today.  It looks like it took a while since I just checked and I submitted the payment on Friday Oct 2nd...

OP, any movement on yours?

Thanks for the update. My last statement cut last night on 10/6 with a small balance of $74 and I just submitted payment today.

So far, last month's statement balance on 9/6 of $85 that was paid in full on 9/8 never reported mid-cycle to any reports. I'll try and post an update to see if October's will update to zero.

Paid on October 3, it reported on EQ as zero today, October 7, and the TU All Cards balance total includes the $7 change dated as of yesterday, October 6..

Re: Did Chase Stop Mid-cycle Reporting?

PIF Freedom last friday - about $1800 - they updated today my balance to $00 on equifax, nothing yet on the others and my statement doesn't cut until after the 18th due date. Funny thing is the card is back to to $796, which I'll pay by the 18th, but they still reported $00 mid-cycle.
