I have been reading about some people being told by Chase that there is now a 30 day wait between chase card approvals at least with the UR cards. Anyone come across anything like this recently?
Yes..I've experienced this during my IHG card. Initially I was told 7-10 days but when I called the hotline, got a 30 day message.
Fun part is, my app was approved in two days.
My husband was instantly approved for both CSP and Hyatt within a few days of each other at the end of December.
I've heard of Chase stopping people at 3 approvals within a specific (short) period of time, but have not heard of two being a problem.

um, I think the OP topic was, if you are approved for a card with UR points (Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, CSP, CSR) then you cannot apply for another card in that group until at least 30 days after the first card was approved.
Your situation is just an internal review of your application. For an IHG card, which does not earn UR points. Good luck with the approval process, hopefully the card is issued to you. But it's not a 30-day wait between cards

Sorry, my bad. Of late, the forum is filled with 5/24 threads and got excited. Thanks for correcting.
