I thought I had my cards on autopay. I apparently did not for my Sony Visa. Logged in today to see where I stood and realized I was 2 days late paying my bill. Made a large payment immediately.
But coming up close to regular time for CLIs on Overstock and Sony.
Will that 2-day late cause my CLIs to come to a screeching halt?
They wouldn't take any AA would they for being 2 days late, would they? Realize I'll probably be hit with a late fee but more worried about the broader ramifications.
IMO, I don't think it was horribly messed up. Thankfully, you caught it so it wouldn't be as late beyond the closing date. And, as you mentioned, worse case scenario there may be a late fee.
As far as the CLI, you'll know if the late payment may influence any movement when you decide to submit it (if it yields that as a reference). As far as AA, no.

In my experience as long as you make it before the statement date youll be fine. You should hold up asking for any CLI until you next statement though.
I don't believe they're that crazy. But either way I think you'll be ok.
Thanks everyone. I've been working so hard... I usually "make the rounds" for each of my cards daily or several times a week so can't believe I let this fall through the cracks. but has been a very bad week...
Definitely have it set on autopay going forward.
Just glad it wasn't one of my Synchrony cards!
Thinks again.
I've had Comenity for at least 10 years and have been late on my VS card a time or two by accident and nothing happened. No AA and I kept getting CLI. IMO Comenity isn't unforgiving. I also was on a debt management plan years ago and included a few Comenity cards in it, and I was still able to obtain new cards after.
Well, it seems like my 48-hour tardy payment on Sony didn't impact my Overstock card, at least.
Today was 62 days, hit the luv button and went from 2200 to 4100!
We'll see next month if Sony gives me some luv!
Happy and relieved!

That's great to hear! Fingers crossed for Sony next month!
