Did a Product Change...

Was rewarded with my balance being reported early Smiley Sad, I was informed of a hard pull but not my balance being reported early, is this normal? The only reason I am complaining is that I usually pay down my balance to 1 - 9% a day or two before my statement cuts, instead Bank of America reported it early during the product change and reported a high balance of 70%. Is there anything I can do, should I dispute it? It's correct but I wasn't informed they would report the balance early before the statement cuts for a product change.

EDIT* They also reported the balance again on the usual statement cut date which was a week or two later.

Amex PRG NPSL- Amex SPG $2k - Amex BCE $2.1k - Amex ED $2k - Chase Freedom $2k - Chase Slate $1.5k - Chase Disney Rewards $1.2k - Discover IT $200 - Bank of America Cash Rewards $3k - Barclaycard Arrival WMC $3k - Capital One QS1 $2000 - USSA Classic American Express $1k

Relax!  Highly unlikely ONE month of 70% utilization will trigger an AA.  Yes, your score might dip until next month, but unless you are applying for anything in the next 30 days it is no big deal.   They will bounce right back.    Remember, scores are not cumulative.   Next month, they don't care about what you did this month.

E: You definitely don't want to dispute accurate information.

The balance was a mid cycle due to the change but why you took a HP is another story. Call and ask why and if it can be retracted ...

Good luck

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I agree, no hp for product change... Id call back and ask for a large CLI if they are going to keep the hp...
