Did any one get 2 week message from Chase

I have pulled the trigger and applied for Amazon Business Visa Card from Chase for my Business. Since I have Amazon Biz Credit from GEMB, I thought it might be logical to try to get this.

They pulled TU and my fico TU is at 687. I got the message "need additional processing and you'll be notified in writing  in 2 weeks."  Is it a decline?

probably, otherwise it would have been approved on line.

Not all issuers offer instant online approvals.  Messages like this almost always mean manual review, which can go either way.

I got the manual review with Chase and came out with 10k.

She tried to give me 7k, but I talked her into 10k. She was very nice, and asked a couple of questions about how I normally pay my credit cards. She asked specifically if I make only the minimum payment, so I would assume that Chase hates that.

Did you have to call them and talk to them before they approved the card? Should I call them and talk to them or should I wait 2 weeks to hear from them?

They called me twice. One to confirm my identity, and then once from the lending department. At no point did I initiate contact with them after the application.

I called Chase and they said the application is being still processed and if I were to give them a call during the first week of March they would have more information. I asked if they want my biz id and duns number, they said they might need it down the road.

Oh, well let me wait another couple of weeks and see what they say. At least it is good to know the app is not rejected flat out. So there is still hope. If I get this card, this will be the last card for biz or may be 6 - 9 months down the road HD MC Biz card.

If I were to get the Chase biz card, is it a good card? Or is Chase is also finiky like Juni and Amex?

I applied with Chase for my grandmother (with myself as an AU) for the Plat Visa. Received the 2 week message. Received the card in about two weeks with a $6700 limit. So I don't think it is an automatic denial at all.
