Did any one try using the simplified app link?

On Citi App site, for the existing card holders to app for another card, they have a simplified app procedure similar to Amex. Did any one try this feature on Citi Cards site? What kind of response did you get? Did they do hard inq?

I tried to use it, but it was preset for the Hilton card and I want the Amex Platinum.

I thought any existing card holder can use that link to get new card with simplified procedure.

It did prepopulate all the fields with my personal information correctly, but I couldn't figure out how to apply for a different card.

I think I did a few months ago for my Citi Amex AAdvantage. It lead to a denial until I went for recon. It did lead to a hard on EQ.
