Did my application not go through?

I applied for the TrueEarnings card 3 days ago.   When I went to check the status of my application, it says that it's not in the system.  When I check exeperian credit report, there is no inquiry from Amex.  Anyone who applied, did you experience the same thing?

I'd call them.  I'm sure someone can tell you if your app is in the system or possibly not started yet.

When you applied, did you get any info on the screen?  I've never apped with them, so I don't know what you should see.  I can only guess some sort of application accepted screen should show up.

The only message that I got was, "If you qualified, you will recieve your card in 14 days."

It may take about three working days for them to pull your credit file.  However, if you log on to the AMEX website and go to application status, it should show your application as in process within 24 hrs of applying.

I've been checking the application status page each day now for 3 days and it still shows that they have no record of my application.

So I called them yesterday and they said that they can't find it.  They say to wait a few more days for it to update.  I am beginning to think that my application did not go through.  What do you think?

I would bet something went wrong with the application. Lay low for now.

If my application didn't go through, I am just going to go into costco and apply there.  What do you mean by "lay low for now."?

Don't do anything and give it another week to see if something happens.
