Diners Club AF and Rewards

Two questions:

Has anyone actually had their annual fee post yet?

How does one access they rewards site? The login just keeps directing me to my account page and I see nothing about rewards there.

it looks like its so fresh they are implmenting the features slowly.  For example you can call to redeem points (i hate calling) but the clubpoints site just redirects to the account page if you try to log in.  A little more digging through the reward site shows that they may not have added the consumer cards into it yet.  There is an option to redeem against annual fees and only the Carte Blanche and Charge cards are listed.  No consumer cards yet.

Yes and they only want $20 as a payment this month (figured they'd want it all since its the AF), Online payment acceptance is shown as available Nov 6th - good thing my payment is not due until Nov 12th.

Re: Diners Club AF and Rewards

I put alot of charges through my DC card the first month so I already made a payment using the phone automated system.

I noticed that they posted the payment the same day I made it and available credit was reflected right away which was nice.

I asked a CSR about rewards and they couldnt telll me my rewards balance. He said you would be able to see rewards online within the next few weeks or so.

It looks like they're working out all the kinks still.

Card arrived today, set up online and looked everything over. Odd though that the AF balance is not showing. I want to get that in to them pronto to get that part out of the way but it's not reflected yet. I may call in and ask when it's due to be posted.

Re: Diners Club AF and Rewards

I don't get why everything with DC consumer through BMO is so new. They have been licensed to issue Diners Club cards in North American since 2013, did they just begin extending consumer credit recently? It seems like a long pause for an established bank to roll out a card program. I didn't read a whole lot about it until after I opened my account with them.

Why not send a letter to the CEO asking these questions? Smiley Tongue

Honestly the whole thing seems really amateur hour to me seeing as they completely underestimated demand and are now SWAMPED.
