Not sure what will happen really. There's rumors now that they're going to eventually lock all of the cards for review and possible closure. I really hope that's not true. Cat Sad

Where in the world are you hearing that from?

Heard it on another forum. Not sure if it's okay to link here, but someone managed to get through to the people in charge of the lockouts and the person on the phone said something on those lines (mainly due to people getting CLs that are much higher than they should have).

Yeah, don't post the link.  Be interesting to see.  I didn't get that great of a CL so I shouldn't have any problems.

You got more than me. I got 5k. Already maxed it. No AA. Interest actually low. They charged me 12 bucks for 3300 balance.  Not bad 250 a month until paid off. Min payment. 48 dollars

Re: Diners Club card still not reporting

Seriously, diners apr is like 13.99% or something, my lowest apr out of any other cards, when my other cards 0% apr runs out, diners will be my go-to card for carrying balance.

Edit : just checked apr, it's 13.15% 😀

It's a great APR for carrying balances!

It's on FlyerTalk Diners Club Forum.

The same crowd that ruined CVS for everyone and slowly ruining Target.  That was one post and the user didn't stipulate if he had Elite or Premier and failed to share 0.01% of any information pertaining to their CR.  The cause could have been anything.

Honestly, they didn't assign me a limit completely out of line with some of my other cards or disproportionate to my income.  I'm also a Premier cardholder and the Elite cards seem to be more targeted for account closures so far.  At the end of the day BMO/Diner's is going to do what they want with my account, but I'm certainly not going into panic mode over one Flyertalk report.

Re: Diners Club card still not reporting

I still have a CSP for international use. I'd be more mad that I'll end up with only chip and signature cards again if BMO closes my Premier card.

One person on one phone call does not a rumour make.  Multiple people making multiple phone calls and getting the same answer MIGHT be a rumour worth heeding.  Given my own experiences with Diners Club Customer Service, they are still very, very confused.  I've had to make multiple phone calls on some technical issues with their website, and each phone call has taken 15-20 minutes to resolve something that should be resolved in 2-5 minutes.   They are still experiencing roll out pains.
