My wife attempted to get a CLI or lower APR but they wouldn't budge. They said they do CLI's automagically and couldn't do them manually. They wouldn't adjust the APR because the market isn't right. Anyhow she escalated up to 3 different supervisors and ultimately was told to send a letter. So I am going to send a letter and was wondering if anyone had a good request letter to get a higher CLI. Thanks! Oh her current CLI is $1,500 with a $337 balance, she did get a $50 credit torwards finance charges so that was a plus.

Not sure which color the smoke is blowing but this is a Subprime card and negotiating a lower rate wil lbe next to impossible.  Pay itdown and just leave it if you can.  Depending on her scores she may qualify for a better card.

The market isn't right? The prime lending rate just went down and is projected to go dow neven further.

Just so you know I turned three years with them and have had 3 CLI that I did not request, I called about three weeks ago and said lets talk about my intrest rate. She said lets. She offered me P+3.0 and 3.9% on all new purchases for 12 months. They did not pull a credit report. I dont cary a ballance and have a CL of 5400.00
