I have had this card for almost 3 years and like a lot of fellow members my CL's have been few and far between . I don't recall other than maybe once have they sent BT checks . I received an offer this week 0% for 12 months or 3% for 15 months 0% , but the lovely 5% fee 🙄.
I may utilize it for some BT and maybe get an increase down the road.
That's nice that they gave you checks but yikes that fee! I have never gotten checks from Discover though I probably could call and ask for BT checks since they send me constant emails offering BT's especially on my new card. FNBO sends me checks in the mail at least once a month for either my Evergreen or basic visa and they want me to use them for anything even just writing them to myself. I actually was super glad to have them once because I was going to pickup a new puppy that my family was getting and realized I was of course out of checks. For some dumb reason I haden't thought about it until that morning. It was a Sunday that we were picking the dog up so banks were closed. I didn't know what to do but so those checks on the desk as I was looking for any leftover checks of mine. I ended up writing a check out and we ended up still being able to get the puppy so it saved us a hassle. I think their was a fee I'm blanking on what it was but whatever it was I didn't mind.

Look up Balance Transfer on your Discover website ... likely you have BT offers and can pick one online and set it up right on your Discover account. Do it all the time. Last one was 2% fee for 12 months 0% interest. No messing around with paper! Will add they offer me cash BT to a checking account of my choice ... nice!

Really?! Shoot, Discover frequently sends me BT offers by snail mail, e-mail, and reminders when I log in! I wonder what's holding up your offers. I know we're all different, and banks pick and choose which offers to give which customers based on their specific profiles, but *no* BT offers in three+ years? That's weird.

My Discover BT offers are two:
3% up front BT fee, zero pct APR for 14 months
No BT fee up front, but 4.99% APR for 17 months.
I'm confused where the 5% fee fits in your offers?

Actually it might be closer to 5 years no bt offers . Since Hurricane Maria. I think Disco may have shut off the valve due to where I live and went through. There loss. I'm the perfect client to offer bts![]()
