Discover APR Reduction

Hey All,

I was just chatting with a representative about foreign transactions and how they'll appear on my statement when she said I could have my APR lowered. She gave me the option of going down to 16.99% permanently or 3% for 6 months, I took the permanent reduction. I haven't accrewed any interest but it's nice to have it lowered just in case! It was a nice surprise for sure.

Thanks for the data point.

I asked for an APR reduction also, about a year ago. They offered a 1% reduction to 18-something %, or 12 months at 0% APR on purchases, so I took the 0%.

Congrats! I asked if I had either an APR offer or spending promo and I had both 3.9 on purchases for 1 year or 20 dollars CB for 1,000 spend in 39 days. Random days, but that makes sense financially for me to do the spending promotion.
