Discover App

Anyone else having an issue with the Discover app lately, where it will require you enter a security code every time that you log in, despite checking the "remember this device" option every time?

Re: Discover App

I'm wondering if that is by-design during this Holiday Season -- heightened web and mobile app security validationn?!?

Re: Discover App

Just logged into mobile and didn't have any issue with additional auth.

Re: Discover App

For me this issue goes in cycles... back in the summer there was a period of a month or so where each time I would login via my computer it would either require a text (SMS) code or a code via email.  I don't recall them ever asking for the SMS code when I used the Android app, though.

I was beginning to wonder if that was just the 'new normal', then as quickly as it started it stopped, and I've not had any problems since.

Oddly, this month I've not had any 'code' requests at all.  I was actually expecting it again due to the holidays (and my increased usage), but so far so good...

Re: Discover App

I think they might be a little glitchy at times when they see increase login activity across the board not just multiple times a day from a particular person.  I recall last month a couple of times getting prompted from the laptop for a code.  I know if I clear cookies it will trigger machine auth's again for most bank sites.  MEH... .not a high priority issue like getting more cash out of them Smiley Wink
