Discover Authorized User Eligibility question

Good morning my fellow fico'ers. Does anybody know, or perhaps have some experience adding an authorized user to there discover account that has a bad history with a previous discover account of there own?

More specifically, I want to add DW to my Discover account, since it's our daily driver. My concern is that she burned Discover in bk back in 2009 to the tune of $7k. I know that Amex holds a grudge, even against AU's. Im also concerned that Discover will hold this against me when it comes to CLI.

Any thoughts, and or experience in this regards?

Many thanks in advance!

Re: Discover Authorized User Eligibility question

I have never had the experience.  But the notion that Discover won't give you a CLI after adding an AU that burn them is not logical.  Why?  The reason being, it is your credit report that will be used to determine if you qualify for a CLI not the AUs report.
