Discover CLI Direct Line

Today i contacted Discover for a CLI. Somehow i ran upon a direct lie to the CLI department in Idaho. I was happy that I didnt have to go through several reps. She placed me on hold for 1 minute after viewing my online inquiry that i previously made moments before calling in. I was denied bc of my short history with my first CLI given to me on November 10th. It was a SP.

Is it too early to request a CLI if I only just received the card in the mail yesterday?  And sounds like this would be a soft pull, I do not need any more hard pulls on my credit report.

Yes far too early. Try in 90 days. Sp and they will alert you if it will be a hp

No need to apologize. You can give it out privately thru pm if you receive any. But not really a good idea to post publicly for thousands to see. Thats if we want it to last! That's what happened to Cap One EO's number and why BOA change theirs often.
