So the other day I login to my Discover account to try my luck at a CLI. Try for $2500 and get the, we can't do it with out further review, may require a credit pull message. Not wanting a hard pull, i hit the cancel button. Try again for a lesser amount, $1500. Get the same message, cancel. option is still there so i say, ill try again tomorrow. Today log and figure why not give it a go and get the following Message, "We're sorry. You already have a credit line increase request in progress".
Whats this mean, did i some how hit OK, will they HP me, am I getting an increase anyway? Guess i will just wait and see what happens. Anyone have a similar experience.
Maybe you approved go by mistake. Hmmm strange.

that happens an lot its an bug in their system, mine has been showing that message since beginning of the year. I was able to get sp cli in june via calling in.
I tried a few weeks back for a SP CLI no luck. I have been with them since May 2013. Use for gas and other purchases, always PIF. They do not like me.
I did have to talk to an underwriter when they denied me and get a recon, I wonder if thats why I get no auto CLI.

i only got my one and only sp cli from them in june and was with them since sept of last year, so it takes time you have to be patient. I know some people where it has taken much longer to get sp cli nearly 18 months.
I've no way to substantiate this, but I'm fairly sure that Discover is more likely to give you a CLI if you carry a balance and don't pay in full rather than if you do.
