Don't feel bad...I've had the card for over 2 yrs and never received a CL increase. It started at $3100 and it has stayed at $3100.
I use the card frequently and have only carried a balance 3 months out of the entire time I've had it, but yet no increase. I haven't been pushing the increases much as I don't want it to "bring attention" and only have them decrease it as I'm not using the entire amount that's given to me (if that makes sense).

It's been over a year for me since my last increase and I still am not eligible when I try the automated phone system. I don't think any of these 3 months/6 months rules are accurate. I've seen others post that it hasn't worked for them either and still many people insist there is a schedule for regular CLI with Discover. I don't think so.Speaking for myself, I get my CLI's every three months. I opened my card July 2009. First increase was October. Second incease was January. My third increase is scheduled for April and final increase before going to a yearly increase will be in July.
Discover advised me upon opening my account, I would be getting CLI's every three months. They kept their word.
Hmm. Strange. Ficos are mid 700's across the board, no lates ever, no negatives at all... I don't know why I'm not feeling the love from them. Oh well. I just realized that on the 14th the statement cut that would have made it a full year of statements since my last increase. I'll give the automated system a try again and see what it says now. If that doesn't work, then I have no idea what the deal is. Maybe I don't use it enough. I do use it monthly, but put most of my spending through my Chase Freedom Plus card for the cash back. (Not for long though, since they charged me interest even though I paid in full BEFORE the statement...grace period is only 21 days it said on my statement. WTH? So, after 3 weeks I get whacked with interest? I'm mad at them now.)
Message Edited by UpUpUp on 02-23-2010 08:28 PMI don't think I've charged no more than $200 on the card. I keep the charges low, so I can afford to PIF. Lack of usage isn't underlying factor that prohibits one from getting CLI's. Discover looks at one's entire credit history and all the lines and credit reporting on one's reports.
Well then I'm really at a loss because this card is my lowest limit by far and there is nothing negative on my credit history and I don't carry balances. Oh well.
