Discover wants to hard pull my credit for an increase. Every time I request online it askes for permission and I cancel.
Will this changed?

Nope, it'll continously show up until you agree to hp.
This above ^^^^... What is your limit on the card if you don't mind me asking?

I only have that option after my last SP CLI more than 14 months ago, but at least they did a big auto-CLI last month (3.5->9). I'm sure I canceled each time and tried around 25-30 times.

Probably not. Which is more important to you?
I got the HP notice on my first several attempts. Always canceled. It eventually changed to SP. Here's the deal, though. After one of my cancels I got an auto bump of $250. After that is when the SP started showing.

Ok.. If it is a new account, just keep using it and don't ask for a CLI for a while. Then after 6 months, try the CLI to see if it will still be a hardpull....
So my friend clicked the button hoping to get a CLI. She has the card for about a year an a half and has only gotten a couple tiny auto increases so far. The last one was last summer and her CL is still less than 1K. She doesn't use the card that much, but recently she went to about 50% and then paid off half of it. I thought she'd have pretty good chances to get a CLI so I told her to go for it. Unfortunately, she got a message that they need to access her report. I assumed that this meant a hard pull, so we backed off. So my question is, had she agreed, would it be a HP indeed?
