My 0% promo recently expired so I reached out to Discover and I was able to have my APR reduced from 22.99% down to 16.24%. I was hoping for another 0% offer but its no big deal since I'm the type of person who PIF. The next round I'm going to try to get it all the way down to their lowest advertised offer 10.99%.
Congrats ![]()
Awesome!
That's GOOD stuff, CONGRATS!!!

I recently called Discover to try and reduce my APR as well. I was offered a 1% decrease or 0% for 12 months, I took the latter. It's worth the call!

I would have taken the 0% also. I actually tend to spend more money when I know there is a 0% APR even though I mostly PIF anyways.
Does it help to PIF to get lower rates?
In my case I PIF.
Edit: I have carried a balance in the past before.
