Discover IT Application response ?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to myfico and rebuilding credit but i've been on here reading and learning from the credit experts..  my question is about the discover it card i apped for a few mins ago and got this response...   should i wait and check on monday or do they give responses over the weekend?    thanks

I did call and the guy asked a few questions but it came back denied... i was hoping for a discover card but i'll wait and try again in the future..  i think its because of the new accounts that i recently opened,  amazon store card, walmart store card, capital one platinum and i just got approved for a 2015 chevy cruze 20,000 dollar loan.   but i do have 2 years of on time payments with credit cards that i just recently closed.. they were 2 first premier cards..  i do have 5 baddies but only 1 is within 2 years and that is sprint. the others will fall off next year..

my fico scores are eq - 609  tu - 637  ex -  623

Don't get discouraged, they denied me the first time too.  I waited 6 months & they approved me the 2nd time.  It's a great card..the 5% bonuses are awesome & they have fantastic customer service.

Thanks,  i'll just stop applying for cards.. work with what i got, bring the scores up more and try again in 6 months...  and yes i do like the 5% offer..
