I am guessing like if someone had just moved may a reason or something they see in one's credit file. No one really knows all the answers.
If you have a FA on file most of the time they will ask
@Anonymous wrote:Come to think of it, they asked me how long I've resided at my current residence and I answered either one year or less. So, perhaps this is a way to confirm my move, which is significantly distant from my previous dwelling and previous transactions? Not sure.
That's more and likey the reason.
Should I wait for their decision before applying for additional cards?

That will not have any affect on any other lenders. What cards are you wanting to app for???
I agree with some of the previous posters. If the OP recently moved and the address on his app did not match what was currently on his report, then that is probably the reason behind it.
Once I changed my mailing address on all my credit cards and they reported, my address was updated on the report and I was not asked to verify anything. Since I moved I have been approved for Discover and Amex
I could care less, actually. I'm just trying to increase my credit line(s) before dissapearing again. However, I'm always looking for a nice instant decision, unlike this Discover It experience thus far. Travel deals are my favorite. ![]()

Just like AZ said, if your credit file is not updated with your new addy then you will get the same thing ( You will have to Vertify your ID )

I love my Discover IT card. The rotating category is lame this quarter, but the 0% is fantastic. I mainly use my Discover IT and CSP. I could really use a gas card but I do not want any new TLs

I've been here for eight months, but I'm unaware of the time lines for update. You know, my initial AMEX CL was $7,500. . . . and that was over a year ago. Since then, I'm pretty sure I've injected over $15,000 of liquidity. The card is sitting at zero right now. . . maybe I should tell Discover It I'm leaning toward a CLI instead. Lol.
