I had an offer to open the cashback checking but it's gone now

They want the same that most do, they want to see usage, responsible behavior, good payment history, etc. I have had the card going on 3 months now and over that time have spoken with the reps regarding the graduation topic specifically, and was told once that it doesn't but that was before I accepted the offer. Since it has been a steady re-assurance of the graduation possibility.
Also, they said after 6 months there is a chance that they will extend more credit to you if they deem you "worthy". Since one cannot add more to increase the limit. I don't know if it is something you can request or if it is done automatically, unfortunately. But they said at 6 months they start "reviewing" the card for that possibility.
I think the only way to know for sure is to find someone that had a Discover secured that graduated. I've seen posts of reps telling consumers they do, but haven't seen anyone that said it's actually happened.
Is there anyone out there that had a Discover secured card that graduated?
I thought that the Discover IT secured was a fairly new card. I also was denied for it a few mos back and would really like the secured version. Go figure.
Well, that would make sense. lol. I didn't realize it was a relatively new card.
It would be nice if they plan to release it as it's own product soon for those of us still estabilshing or rebuilding credit. I would love to get one, especially if it graduates, but I have too many inquiries over the past week trying to get cards to build revolving history, so I am out for a while anyway. Hopefully this is just a trial balloon and later will be a fullblown option for us without perfect credit.
The secured card program is so new that I think they are evolving and changing their policy with regards to graduation, deposit levels, and approval criteria. I hope they open it up and expand it more.
Would be nice if it does
