A lower APR is still better than a higher APR... ALWAYS!
I really hate to sock drawer my Discover It card, but I have transitioned to using my BCE as my prime and Chase for gas purchases. I always make sure to grab my Discover everytime I shop online though since their ShopDiscover is always stellar.
I love Discover. They were my first prime card.. first $5K card... first great credit card w/ exceptional customer service.

Results:Jody: Great! I have applied the new rate for you. Future interest charges will be calculated at Prime + 10.99% which equals 14.24% beginning with your 08/26/13 billing statement. Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Me: Nope. Thanks!
I have had my Discover It since June 2012. My last credit score pulled by American Express was TU 766 on 7/6/2013. Two months ago, I requested a credit limit increase from $2,000 to $5,000 and was approved. Discover is in my sock drawer, but I thought it would be beneficial to request a lower APR gradually overtime.
Congrats! I called Discover last week to convert my More card to the IT, and requested an APR reduction as well.. Went from 17.99 -> 11.99.
Very pleased with how accomodating Discover is, and will keep it in rotation
Congrats! I recently got my Discover APR lowered from 10.99% to 9.99% variable.
Dont think there was any credit pull on mine for sure not a hard pull
I generally don't carry a balance but at 19% I feel like I am being ripped off compared to you guys!
I always PIF! But having this lower APR definitely gives me security.. in the event that I need to carry a balance. That's for sure.
Congrats! Another notch in the belt of pleased Discover customers
