Anyone have any experience with this card?
2% cash back on gas seems good when there aren't rotating categories.
There are still better cards for gas and whatnot. Sallie Mae comes to mind, for example, 5% back up to $250 a month.
True. But 250 a month is for a hybrid or something. Not today's gas hogs ![]()

But why bother with a 2% somewhere card when there is both the Fidelity Amex, and the Citi Double Cash, which offer 2% everwhere (and the Citi MC certainly has much wider acceptance than Discover)

Do you commute far or something? I don't drive a hybrid and it only cost me about $56 for the entire month to fill my car up completely!
I spend a little over $100/month in gas. My job is about 20 min from where I live and I drive a small SUV. We use to spend a little over $150, but my husband started bicycling to work.

Nah guys. To be fair. The name says it all. I drive taxi so I go thru about 75 per day in gas. 2k per month. That's why sallie Mae really not good for me. I rotate cards for best results. Right now and for next week until oct 1. Discover. But after. Will go back to quicksilver. 1.5%. Maybe I will find 2% in future. But I can't app anymore this year. Aa of a is down to 5 months.
Hope you find one that's decent for you. ![]()
