Discover It and Cap One approvals. What should I do.

Hello! Am I making the right choice at only accepting Discover It and Capital One credit cards? These will be my first two credit cards that I will accept. Should I add one more?!

My credit file is thin. I have student loans reporting in the green for on time payments. My score is going up bedsides the hits I took to app. I currently have a Fingerhut credit of 230 that is sitting. Any advice is great!

Discover IT $200 secured
Capital one 300 limit unsecured

Credit Cards (I've refused to accept)

The upfront cost are the fees & pretty much how much id have to pay to get my card to it's SL since they take fees out straight away...I'm not okay with all those fees, at one point I thought oh why not but after reading this forum I've opted to not even go that route!

I think you've done really well. You've accepted two good cards, and you've refused bad ones.

I think I'd let these two cards grow and wait on new applications until more unsecured products become available to you. That'll happen with a few months of history. Because you've had success at getting an unsecured card, I woudn't bother with any more that need to be secured.

Just got approved for Discover IT & Cap One a few days ago, the other cards I rejected.

@Heaven Thank you. Great advice I don't think I could handle more then two cards right now so it's a good thing I was approved for two nice cards. I plan to garden for a while!
