@Anonymous wrote:hi all,
Just went on the discover prequalify site and was wondering if anyone knew how accurate it was? Also which cr do they pull? Thanks.
I don't think it's accurate. I was "preapproved" for the same card I already have.

Don't beleive it all. My dog name is pre qual on the discover site. Not reliable at all
This sucks, i would really like to get the secured card but i dont want hard pulls from trying to apply for the regular card.

Are your scores strong enough to qualify for Discover? Look on the Creditkarma site & see what the lowest/highest/average scores that were approved are. You can check out a few cards on their free site. ![]()
def not, fako scores are 540 and 533. i know i need to rebuild which is why i would want the discover it secured card.

Access it by checking to see if you have a pulse. If you do, you're pre-qualified
:-D
Worked for me. Helps if scores higher and reports clean, and/or you have thin file.

I applied when rebuilding, higher scores, but in 500 range. They denied me, no secured card offered. And I had two cc's on my report.
Could not help myself.... I put in my dogs name, with the last four of the social being 1234. Results? Pre qual'd for Discover It. ![]()
