Discover Motiva Card

Hey guys,

Looked in my mailbox today and got a "preapproved" offer for the Discover Motiva Card. Pays interest back twice a year and has 3.9 Fixed until 2010. Anyone know about this card? It says I have until Feb 15th to accept the card...

Don't know about it, but I am very happy w/ my Miles card. The best rewards card I have, as I don't have to pump tons of money thru it.

It has a 3.9 BT offer to go with it I think.  Good card if you have some higher interest balances that you would like to transfer or if you normally carry a balance.  I have this one myself but the purchase rate is high  for.  Won't be using it for purchases anyhoo. At least until I can get them to agree to lower that rate.

Discover provides great utility cards due to their generous CLs.

the main to earn rewards is you pay 5 months of interest to get the 6th month's interest as a cash reward, not a good deal, it does qaulify for shopdiscover.

I have the Motiva card and I would consider it for BTs. To the OP, are your reports clean, especially EX and TU?

OK nowI don't feel so special.  They have the same categories listed for this card as Cap1 does.  Excellent, Average, Needs Improvement and I don't know.   Actually the now have this for all Discover cards.

Seriously, though, I wasn't aware it was even possible to get a Discover card if you fall into the "Needs Improvement" category.
