So like most of us I frequently check Amex, Capital One and Discover for pre-approved offers via their websites. So today I checked Discover after getting my utilization down from 22% to 2% and this is what I got:
I don't remember ever seeing it like this before.. generally it's like 'sorry we couldn't find any offers but here is some cards that you might like' or something along those lines. Does this mean I may qualify? I realize it means close to nothing but it is a glimmer of hope for me.

Looks like you may be pre-qualified for the DM. It's not a guaranteed aproval, and judging by your scores you will probably have to recon a denial.
Looks like a targeted offer since most new more cards come with 15 months at 0%
How many inquiries? Discover is inquiry sensitiveThanks LS, I think I'll stay in the garden. I was just denied for the Zync. My goal is to replace my Cap1, Barclays and secured cards with Chase Freedom and AMEX Zync by the end of the year.

Update: I tried to find a pre-approved offer for "Monkey Man" with last 4 SSN "6969" and it came back with the same offer. So if Monkey Man can get pre-approved perhaps I'll just hold off.
webhopper, yes I do as I want the member date to be 2012 not 2013 as I'm not sure that they will backdate to my charged off AMEX Green from 2006 (that they were gracious enough to accept my GW letter and deleted).
I just checked and sure enough I finally have a recommended offer as well, when its never found an offer for me before. Interesting....
