Also PNC banks in the Pittsburgh area do not accept the "Discover" debt card. Depending on where you live YMMV on its usefulness. Other than that, it is okay. We also have Ally, and if you're looking for an online bank, I would recommend them, the interest is better. We are considering closing the Discover checking.
Yes, that has happened to me too, local groceries' POS freaks out when I try to run it as debit, but you can always run it as credit and you still get the $0.10. However I don't get you mean PNC doesn't accept Discover. How would any bank accept Discover?

Ugh, Not good. I guess maybe I will use it more to put a little deposit in their and let it sit... maybe at some point Discover will work on this product a bit more so that it is more attractive to use for both the account holder and the store vendor.
Thank you for your information.
When I think of Discover I think of credit cards. But, you're right, they are a bank. I already bank with Chase and Penfed, so I'll probably not use this service for now. You've piqued my interest though so I'll check out what they have to offer. Thanks,Bella!

I received the checks already. You can check it on the same app as the credit card on your phone.
You go in under bank or under credit card.
So we shall see .. it can't hurt.
