Sorry you got the 3-5 day message.  I'm at the point now that I don't feel like mine will unsecure.  I want to apply for the CashRewards card with NFCU in December and if I can get a limit equal to Discover, then I'll close the card out.  I burned Discover years ago, so I don't think they'll ever give me anything but a secured card and I'm no longer willing to tie up $2k just for the privilege of carrying their product.  Good luck on getting yours unsecured.

Good luck ddemari.  Hope your card unsecures.  Don't think mine will since I burned them years ago.  If I can qualify for a card with NFCU in a couple more months, then I'll happily close Discover.  I like the benefits, but I would much rather put the $2k in my 401k.  It has served its purpose of me, so I don't mind letting it go.

I HAVE GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!!!!!

So I got on chat just now and asked them about the option to increae the credit limit but not add money. 

The rep stated that I graduated on yesterday *does happy dance*

Have you tried a CLI increase yet?

Its unsecured now... and doesn't appear like they upped your limit..

Like folks have said.. they will warn you if its an HP....

Give it a click...

You "should" be eligible, if only for a small one...  frankly though if it were me, id take an  HP pull for a CLI increase since it unsecured on its own..
