Definitely not a glitch, received the contamination email. I just noticed the offer this morning, my statement cuts on the 12th. The offer may have been there longer. Don't know since I don't always check pending transactions.

I don't want to get contaminated but I wonder if this is to counter Chases new Prime Visa Signature? My Discover doesn't have this offer but I got the $70 GC from Amazon when I got approved for my Chase Amazon prime card.

Just don't pay too much attention to the complaints in the comments on the Discover It card on Amazon's forums. There are quite a few 1- and 2- star reviews there, and it seems to me that most of them haven't really done their homework in researching, for instance, how the $75 statement credit (I think I may have misidentified it as a gift card earlier) is applied. Actually, there are a LOT of people on the Amazon forums beefing in one way or another about Amazon's various credit card offers, so take them all with the usual grain of salt.

No offer here, but I read about this last night on NerdWallet. My statement just cut on the 2nd and I had used my Discover for about 5 Amazon transactions just this week.

Sorry on my mobile with no way to do a screen shot. For me I found the link on the main page under pending transactions. Hit the little + sign next to the heading to open the list of transactions found it at the bottom of the list.
