6 months ago, I earned enough from all the cash back bonuses to get a $50 statement credit so I redeemed and they in turned raised my limit by from $5490 to $8990. Yesterday, my statement was available with enough for another $50 statement credit which I redeemed. Today I log in and guess what? They increased me from $8990 to $9890! We run a lot through this card and it sees heavy usage during the 5% categories like gas and groceries.
Hmmm... now there is an idea...
I have had discover for like over a year with no CLI. However, I have never reedemed the cash back. Hmm, maybe run enough through the card for a $50 cashback and that should trigger the auto CLI...
Thanks for the idea...

hahaha... doesnt hurt to ask... just not if its gonna cost you a hard... lol
Will defintely try this tactic. I have yet to redeem my cashback rewards. I'm at $36 Been a member ~11 months, no auto CLI yet! will prob use this car more to boost the rewards.
I'd say if you have the money in bonus there, get a statement credit with it and see what happens. Worse that will happen is you reduce your balance, right?!
With regards to calling and asking for the additional $110 in credit line, does anyone really think it will be a hard? I mean, come on, $110!

I just would not ruffle the feathers for $110.
Take what happened to BofA customers last year, they ask to BT and they get CLD, they ask about better rewards, they get CLD, they ask for CLI and they CLOSED ACCOUNT!!!
I always assumed Discover wasn't that sort of lender, to go crazy that is.
