This is ymmv, but I noticed on weekend and late at night that option isn't available on the phone. If you call during regular hours that option is there I don't know why that is, since it's done by a computer

I got an automated phone CLI within the last 6 weeks that was immediately processed over the phone. Tried again this week because someone else mentioned getting a second one pretty soon after the first. The automated system denied it and tried to connect me to a representative. I, of course, hung up. Checked today and found that I got an even bigger increase than the one I got before.
Will probably cool down now - happy with my limit with them, but passing on the trick. All SPs!
What's the number and how do i know if its a sp not a hp?? I have no experience of getting CLI from a sp from any card, so please some guide?
If it is instantaneous, then no HP was required. They will always explicitly ask for your approval either in writing or over the phone for a hard copy of your report before proceeding with a HP.

This is not about the discover card question..
I had requested credit line increase for BOA 1-2-3 card (4 times.. >.< unfortunately I knew nothing better at that time).. and i filled out a form online.. i dunno if that was a hard pull or soft pull? it was all approved the next business day... not instantly.. so i can assume that those were all hard pulls?

I have exactly the same situation, no CLI option for me.. ..I called during the office hour I think.. it was before 5pm.. 4:40pm i think
How long do you guys wait till you try again if you're declined a CLI, or no change to your online account ?
Just tried the automated response line a couple of days ago, still no change to my credit limit when I sign on to my online account and no email either..
I had a successful CLI request about 2 or 3 months after one was denied. I've always had to call in. The button has never been available for me online.
Dave, so you went through the automated response and hung before the operator came on the line ?
I try to do it over the chat, they wanna hp my credit report, i really don't want hp and spook barclay. meh... I guess I just gotta hope for auto increase.
