Discover max CLI

Hello Discover users. what is the max credit limit that Discover gives out? I am currently at 20K. And I am usually successfully periodically asking for softpull CLI. Now that I am 20K, not sure if it is a good idea to ask for more.

Suggestions?

Re: Discover max CLI

Asking for more would certainly depend on your usage and income.  My wife's is at $31k and I have seen several in the $50-60k range on these forums.

Re: Discover max CLI

OP, do you need more?  The 5% categories are max out at $1,500 a quarter and everything else is 1% so putting a lot on Discover seems to be less rewarding when others can give you more (.50%, 1%, or 2%) on your spend.

I would suggest stop getting Disco CLI and get better cashback cards if that is the rewards you like.

My DW loves her Disco because it's a pink card and I cringe every time I see her use it.  I closed my Disco.

Good points and now that Discover Card has removed the remaining travel benefits as such ... it may make the card less valuable (assuming one used the benefits - which I did not).
