Ive only had the card since oct but they started me with a measly 1000 limit..just wonderinf how long I have to wait to ask for an increase and if there usually good with increases..Id like to actually use the card for the holidays but not going to with a 1000 limit.

I was new to Discover too in August 2011 and they started me off with a $1,000 CL. I use the card just about every other day to take advantage of their cash back rewards and pay off the balance every two weeks or once a month depending on how much I've spent. The rewards add up which is great. I'd like to have a higher credit line with them but if I need to spend more than the CL they gave me, I use my Citi Hilton Honors Signature Visa which has great rewards too.

They gave me my first increase at 3 month mark small increase but better than nothing, then every 3 months it's been more bumps not including customer initiated I love my discover, treat them welland they will treat you better!!
