OP, you (or I for that matter) aren't entitled to any cards, unsecured or not. A lender will offer you whatever they feel they are comfortable lending you and on whatever terms they deem appropriate. You don't fit their profile at the moment. Get over it, it's not the end of the world.
Why get so so worked up over a card that isn't the greatest?
