If you have a Costco membership, the Costco TE Amex card gives you 2% on restaurants and 3% on gas (the latter is limited to $4000 in spending per calendar year, but the 2% on restaurants and travel is unlimited). You can possibly find some even better deals if you look here.
Chase AARP offers 3% cashback on both categories.
