Discover statement

My Discover statement closes the 20th of every month. It hasn't closed. Is this a glitch or does this has to do with my credit line increase?

Check online or just give them a call their customer service is great.

Re: Discover statement

Plus, if you have Discover it, you can name your own closing date. This can come in handy if there's a time of the month when it is easier to make a pre-closing payment to keep the reported balance down.

Re: Discover statement

Haven't called but I just remembered that I changed like 6 of my cards to have the same due date. I completely forgot because it said it won't go into effect for two billing cycles! Thanks everyone!

Re: Discover statement

I just got my new Discover what is odd is that I got approved 6/1 but now my next closing date shows as 7/20.

However, I saw that Discover reported my account as 6/1 but my credit alert was 6/24 and it reported the balance that was at that time. Is that normal for Discover? I know they operate different but all my other banks when ever I got the card my statement closed fairly quickly but not almost 2 months later. I still made a payment just to lower the overall balance but I don't have any statements

My Wallet: Amex Everyday: $7000 | Amex PRG: NPSL | AMEX Business Reward: NPSL | Amex Hilton Aspire: $9300 | Amex Delta Gold: $15000 | Amex Business Plat: NPSL | BofA Cash Rewards: $22000 | Travel Rewards: $15000 | NASA FCU Advantage: $17,500 | DCU Platinum: $5000 | Barclaycard Rewards: $3500 | Capital One QS: $8500 | Capital One Platinum: $2250 | Capital One Spark: $7500 | Fidelity Bank: $3400 | Nordstrom: $16500 | Macys: $10000 | Walmart: $3300 | Amazon: $6000 | Target: $14500 | | Chevron/Texaco: $3000 | Discover IT: $4700 | Apple Card: $2450 | Citi Double Cash: $4000

Mine also changed, as noted on other thread.  Didn't know they reported.  Haven't checked my free reports yet.  Smiley Tongue  Good thing I charged my December trip to SimplyCash.

Mine has also reported with a balance, approval 6/7/-6/8.  My closing date is 7/25 so much for hoping they'd wait 6-8 weeks to report.
