OP,
I apped for Chase Slate April 2013 and was not successful with recon 3X CSR. I had 2 lines over 5K and they were both store cards. My BK was 8 Years Post and they cited the BK as denial reason. I called three different times.
I worked Really hard this last year to get my lines up taking hards left and right racked up about 12 on TU over half are CLI Hards, but whatever I was willing for it.
In Jan I called Barclay for a CLI and they gave me the CLI of 3000$ for BT purposes on my Upromise Line that had a 0 Bal and now a 5K TL, didnt bat an eye at the amount of INQ on TU the quote was"you have done very well with your lines over the past year and we will approve the CLI".
In Feb I Apped for CSP, got the pending 10 day notice immediately called chase recon, with aspp ID in hand I told them I had apped last year and was denied, that I was now nearly 9 years post BK and am back to get denied again and would love to speak with a CA. they looked at my report for maybe a minute came back approved and off I went to love it.
Time of app my lines 5K + were - Discover 5.5K, Usaa was 7K +7K, Upromise was 5K, JCP 6K,and CareCredit 5K. Lender score that came with app was 707. Util around 11% or so across all lines.
I have read many folks who seem to get approved for chase products even 5 years post BK, but that was not my exp, so I'd say app for it, ready for recon and give it your best pitch!
