Ok MyFICO family I have something worrying me, but I don't know if I should be worrying or not.
I've had my BOA, CAP1 and The Buckle cards for almost a year now. Then in the last two days I was approved for Discover, Chase Freedom and Walmart Store. My fear is that once these new accounts start reporting that I may see some AA from one of the lenders. I would be devastated if anything happened to my decent size limit on my new Discover. It's the best tradeline I have and I really want to make sure I stay in Chase's good graces.
So do I have anything to worry about with having these new accounts? Does anyone have any experience they can share with these lenders and their reactions to new inquiries and accounts?
Thanks a bunch, sorry I'm a worry wart.
I think you should be fine....you should garden for a while. you got some good cards
I would be worried too (worry club member here..lol) but honestly you will be okay. I hear people come on here and go on insane 'small' sprees or add like 10+ new accounts and nothing bad happens. Even me last year added a new account roughly every couple of months and I am okay. You will be fine
I added over ten new accounts in the beginning of last year and four more near the end and didn't experience any negative action. I reckon if you keep utilisation low they will not be too concerned. If you max out all the cards then they will probably start to worry.
Oh I just saw your Freedom limit. Don't worry, Discover is not going to worry about that small limiit. If anything, maybe Chase will try to compete for your business!!!!!!!!!!

You shouldn't worry about it.
But kind of surprised how much Discover gave you as a credit limit compared to your other accounts! Impressive!
Thanks for the reassurance everyone, I feel much better now. I just wanted to make sure I didn't mess up in all this.
