For my CSP I called in but my QS allowed me to request a date on the website. I just did the QS last week. It was too late in the month.

Yea I changed the dates so all my cards close/payment due within a day or two of each other. That way I don't have any loaners that I forget about. I have them all set on auto pay, but I still like to manually put a payment in so in case it doesn't work.

Yes, I've changed all mine to the first of the month give or take a day or two. I get paid on the 15th and the 31st of the month so I generally pay any balances I have manually on the 15th. If I still have balances I pay them on the 31st, but as a back up, I also have auto pays for the minimum amounts due set up for all of my credit cards. By the time my bills are actually due I rarely have an amount due.
I'm making it sound a lot more complicated than it is. I simply pay in full, all my credit cards on my pay day which is 2x a month.
Over the 17 years I've had credit cards for, thus far, I have never requested a change of my payment due dates.
I changed the dates on my Capital One cards to all fall on the same day. Just makes it easier to manage. ![]()
I only have 4 CCs and 3 retail cards right now and it's been manageable with manual payments on their chosen statement cut dates. I'll consider it in the future if he gets more difficult to manage.
Never changed my payment due date on any of my cards EXCEPT my Amex charge card which I set it for the statement to cut near the end of the month, this way it feels more organized and fluid for me to use the card from the beginning of the month and have it cut literally near the end of the money and then I PIF, just feels more straightforward for me psychologically lol.
I have two primary cards I use, and set the due dates 15 days from each other. I'll use one card and PIF 5 days before the statements cuts. Then switch over to my next card and the cycle continues. I use a third card to carry a small balance.
