Does Cap1 let you combine/consolidate mult. cards into being on one of their discontinued cards?

Does Cap1 let you combine/consolidate multiple cards into being on one of their discontinued card products, that you still have open with them?  (I may have already asked this question to a certain degree an earlier thread; my advance apologies to the mods if this is the case but I do not recall receiving a definitive answer earlier; hence re-asking the question?  Also since the Cap1 consolidation master-thread is already 1000's of posts long, I was admittedly rather nervous to try to scroll through there, lol Smiley Embarassed )

As part of the backstory to the question, I have been trying for months to get my existing Cap1 No Hassle Miles Ultra -- which Cap1 discontinued and no longer issues -- card's CL increased, only to be denied time and time again.  I even sought the help of the EO, to no avail.  In a few earlier threads, some posters were kind enough to suggest apping for a current-gen Cap1 card product and then combining/consolidating the limits onto the current NHM card.  The only thing is, since again Cap1 no longer issues this card, would they even let me, if were to hypothetically try that approach?  Or would they require me to consolidate/combine, but only onto the current-gen card?  Any advice or thoughts please?

Any particular reason why you want to keep the no hassle card?

Thanks for your input and thoughts!  Smiley Happy  The No Hassle card I currently have has benefits similar to a Venture (2x miles earned per dollar), but without an AF, and if I were to apply for the current-gen Cap1 products and then combine the NHM into the newer product, the go-to APR would likely rise considerably.  And so the main interests in wanting to hang on to the NHM card would ideally be to maintain the present go-to APR, along with the 2x miles/dollar rewards option.

bump?

(Also:  I have started reading through the Cap1 consolidation master thread started by baller4life, for more info...haven't come across anything in that thread so far though to indicate if Cap1 will allow combining/merging/consolidating a new card onto a discontinued card product.  Perhaps I should call Cap1 and ask them directly -- any thoughts?  I am slightly hesistant/reluctant to call Cap1 or initiate too much contact with them I guess, just in case they decide they want to forcibly PC me -- the law of unintended consequences, lol -- as I have read some past threads here on the forum where Cap1 has forced other cardholders to PC No Hassle Rewards/NHM cards to QS or Venture, etc.  Maybe I should just let it go, and app for a future, current-gen Cap1 card product if needed without trying to merge?  I don't want them to eliminate my existing NHM card, so perhaps maybe that is the best course of action at this point, idk?)

Update:  I also recently tried asking Cap1 to convert my NHM card to World MC status as an alternate way to increase the purchasing power of it b/c of the repeated denials on a CLI.  Sadly, a no-go there as well though...
