Looking to snag 400 bucks for opening 360 checking, but the Venture is on my list soon. This shouldn't be anything to do with the Venture app 30 days later or whatever, right? Given I opt-out of any kind of overdraft protection baloney on the 360 .. which would be a hard inquiry.
They're giving a bonus to sign up for a 360 checking? I opened one earlier this year and I didn't get a bonus.
I wouldn't think that it would effect any app for other credit, as opening a 360 checking is not a HP. Only if you set up an overdraft line of credit as you mentioned above.

I'm not even sure opening the overdraft line of credit would matter. I think the 6 month policy relates to solely to credit card products; I would imagine the banking side is by itself.

Looks like the 400 is just for certain area of the country upon further research .. or current Capital One cardholders ... you should have gotten at least 50 or 100 even maybe 200. I remember I got 200 bucks for opening a checking account at another bank a year ago and thought that was nice considering they sent a 150 bonus offer a couple months prior. Capital One must be sitting fat because I'm not going to really do much with the checking account at a measly .20% APY (better than nothing, I know)
The two sides of Capital One are basically unrelated.

Terrific.
