Hello, I have a Cap1 Quicksilver which I rarely use, mostly sock drawer and I put a couple of dollars in spend everyonce in a while to keep it active. It is my first credit card.
Recently a friend sign up using my referral link and I received a $100 statement credit for it which I would like to transfer to my checking account and I´m wondering if it´s possible.
Otherwise I´ll just use this card for things I´m already planning on buying until I hit $100 spend.
Thanks!
Lenders will send a check when not used for 3-6 months. However, since it's from a referral, not sure they would do that. You could call them.
If not, definitely use card. You don't want card to close for no use with that credit.

Call them and ask them for a check; they will likely honor that request. Having it ACH'ed to a checking account held at an outside bank is less likely.
I don't know that they would do that, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks, the reason that I mentioned my checking account is because I also have my main bank account with Cap1.
Update
My little sister (she's an AU but rarely uses her card) asked me if you could buy something and give me the money for it. Which means I won't have to do anything about it.
Thanks for the replies, I was going to end up calling to see if I could get a check.
