The additional info they need can also come from the AU showing up under joint accounts on the primary's CR, such as an auto loan, mortgage, etc.

I see.   I checked my report and that address only shows up on my EQ report.  Not on EX or TU.   And no shared loans w primary.

Keep in mind that not all creditors or scoring models factor in accounts where you're an AU anyway.  If you're counting on this to improve your credit you'll still need to work on your own tradelines.
