Does Target RedCard Report to CRA's?

I just got my Target Red Card with $200 Credit limit. Does any one if the Target Red Card reports the payment experience to Credit Agencies?

Thanks. Target and HSBC Discover is not reporting on my CR yet. They are new cards. I am keeping an eye so if there is a drop in my Fico once they start reporting. So far I am around 650 on all 3 and I want to keep it that way and hopefully growi it from there.

I am so surprise that department store cards, like target, mervyns, Jc Penney and Gap CC start you with a limit of $200.00 even if you have great fico scores.

Re: Does Target RedCard Report to CRA's?

I think they are concerned about online fraud and that is why they are giving small credit limits. When I applied online, I got only $200 for Target. But when I applied in store for JCPenny they gave me $800 Credit. Macy's gave me only $100 online. They said, after 3 payments they will increase the limit automatically.

Re: Does Target RedCard Report to CRA's?

they reported on all 3 almost immediately upon activation.  Target, JCP and others start you low but review and give a CLI every 3 months with paying on time, etc.  We know target redcard can be turned into a target visa in 6-12 months - so can some other store to co-brand I bet.

BTW Chevron Just reported for me with the first 'payment' on the account.  Still waitng on HSBC to show up and it's older than Chevron.  Exxon 'should' start next month - and I've had that card for a year (so it will help scores considering it's at $0 balance).  Citgo still hasn't reported (3 months after I got the card, $0 balance also)
