Does this mean my AMEX is successfully backdated?

 photo ScreenShot2014-07-21at55712PM_zpsf13b5ea0.png

I sent them a message in the chat yesterday asking for my Member Since date to be corrected to my first AMEX card when I was a freshman in college in 1999. I was careful not to use the word backdating because everyone from this forum told me not to. Does this mean my TL will now show 15 years instead of 1 month?

Hilton Honors $15,000 | AMEX Green | Chase Sapphire Preferred $9000 | Discover IT $6600 | Marriott Premiere Rewards $5000 | Chase Freedom $5500 | Barclaycard Visa with Apple Rewards $2000 | CapitalOne Quicksilver One $2000 | US Airways Dividend Miles $2400

That's correct. Log in and you should see your Member Since Date as 1999. Next time your statement closes, the TL will report with the new year. Congrats Smiley Happy

No problem Smiley Happy It's always nice to see some Amex BD love! Enjoy, and get another Amex card in January to get the full benefit of BD.

So am I! Great minds think alike, haha Smiley Tongue

EDIT:

Until you receive the email stating that your Amex card has shipped, you will not see the corrected MSD online. So don't worry!

Haha! We go to Vegas a lot and my best friend who has the SPG says he got automatic M-Life gold membership with it and we've had some NICE room upgrades from that. Can't wait!

Congrats! Mine was backdated and it took an additional 2 statements to cut before mine were backdated on my CRA's. Sadly it had no effect on my score which I was really looking forward too since it made my TL go from 8 mos to 2+ yrs. Ohh well.

That's strange. When my BD reported, my original AAOA was higher than yours and is still a bit higher now, my score jumped to the 770's. I was previously in the 740's.
