Downgrading CSP

My AF hit on my CSP. I am going to downgrade to a CS since I have an ink bold that will let me transfer to travel partners. Do I need to combine my biz card with my personal cards before the downgrade or can I just do it later in order to transfer my URS to travel partners? Do I even have to combine the accounts online or is simply having the business card sufficient to allow me to transfer my URs from my freedom/csp to travel partners? I want to make sure I take all the proper steps before I call in for the downgrade.

Do what part over the phone? Consolidate the points into one account? Will the CSR be able to do that or will they need to transfer me around etc.

Why would I pay an AF when I have almost all the same benefits via the ink bold? All I lose really is the travel bonus and the spend in that category is not going to be enough to justify the cost of keeping it. The card does not provide enough value to me to offset the AF.

CSP provide primary auto rental collison instead of secondary on the ink plus and no foreign transaction fee. However, if you do not travel much then yes you should downgrade. Btw, the CS version only earn 2 points at restaurant, has FTF.

Being that I don't have driver's insurance all credit card insurance would be primary for me by default. I would probably be using my arrival+ for car rentals anyway. The FTF is an interesting point, but I could just use my ink card which would give me a bonus on hotels anyway. The only reason I am downgrading instead of cancelling is the bonus on restaurant spend.
