Due for another Cap1 CLI. How much should I try for?

It's been 6 months since the last CLI on one of my Cap1 cards.  So far the card has grown line this -

Started- 9/27/11 - $750. - 8/12 - $1500. 5/14/13 - $2500. (BD)

My other Cap1 was recently converted from Orchard - 

Started 9/2011 - $750. - 2012 - $950. Converted to Cap1. Called the EO # and asked them to match my other card's limit -  9/17/13 - $2500. 

At that time my highest Visa/MC limit was $3700. That card is now up to $5500. It will be reporting a balance of $850. when I call for an increase in a few weeks. Both Cap1 accounts will be at $0. (currently $1600. / $2300.) and my total utilization will be reported at about 5%. 

I'm wondering if $5k will be to much of a jump. I could ask for $5k and they could counter with a lower amount.  What do you think?

I started at $300 June 11. I'm up to $1000, I asked for 1500. I'd ask for 5000/5500. And make it WMC too

I'd ask for $6000.  They will counter offer if they don't want to go that high.  I went from $1500 to $5000 to $7000 to $8500.  All but the last time were the amounts I asked for and the last one was a counteroffer (asked for $10,000).

Maybe I'll see if they can match my $5500. card. The answer is no if I don't ask so it doesn't hurt to try.
